We reported in detail when Maruti launched the SX4 facelift. The car maker has now come up with a TVC for its new car and the new video clip asks boys to become men. The advertisement is keeping in line with the “Men are Back” tagline that the SX4 is famous for.
The 2013 Maruti Suzuki SX4 facelift comes not just with updated exteriors and interiors but also has re-tuned engines to boast of. These motors have been re-tuned for better fuel efficiency.
The SX4petrol is powered by the G16 1.6 litre engine that has become more fuel efficient and gets a claimed fuel economy figure of 16.51kmpl. The diesel variant, powering which is the Fiat Multijet mill with VGT, gets an increased fuel economy figure of 21.79 kmpl.
The SX4 facelift gets an updated front fascia that comes with a revised grille, a revised bumper and new fog-lamps. The new grille makes the front end aesthetically more appealing. The interiors of the car get new colour shades and come with a black dashboard and beige upholstery.
On the features front, the SX4 facelift gets an optional touch-screen audio system. The touchscreen interface also doubles up as the display for the navigation system. The air con vents and door handles get the chrome treatment and the car also gets electric foldable ORVMs with indicators.
Explaining the new features Mr. Manohar Bhat, Vice President Marketing, says, “The all new Maruti Suzuki SX4 hasnew looks, andalso brings new features such as touch screen audio navigation and electronically foldable ORVMs with turn indicator. In addition, the improved fuel efficiency is sure to delight users of this segment.Powered by two celebrated engines the Super Turbo 1.3 Litre diesel and the 1.6 Litre VVT petrol engine, the car now offers much more to the car connoisseurs in this segment.”
