Ford India Launches New Classic Titanium @ INR 6.86 lakhs

We reported in detail when Ford India decided to rename its Fiesta Classic sedan, the last gen Fiesta, to merely Classic. The automaker says that the re-branding exercise is to avoid confusion between the old and new Fiesta and hence, make life easier for its customers. Now, Ford India has introduced a new variant of the Classic, the Classic Titanium, at an attractive price point of Rs. 6.864 lakh for petrol and Rs. 7.82 lakh for diesel variant (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The Ford Classic Titanium comes loaded with features like Bluetooth enabled audio system, speed sensing volume controls, Auto door locking once the car starts moving, beige interior trim (not really a feature but then, our market is a sucker for anything beige), new alloy wheels design, Body-coloured ORVMs and new black front grille that aids the aging design with some aesthetic value.

“We have been listening to our customers to offer a value proposition with smart technologies and best-in-class features with the introduction of the Titanium variant in our Ford Classic range. By bringing in Bluetooth telephony in this segment and integrating eight other outstanding features, we have delivered on our promise to democratize technology and add unmatched value to a reliable, fun-to-drive Ford Classic”, said Michael Boneham, president and managing director, Ford India.

The car continues to be offered with option of having either the enthusiastic 1.6 litre Duratec petrol or the extremely frugal 1.4 litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine.

“With its refreshed interiors, amazing fuel-efficiency and performance, the Classic Titanium is one of the most compelling products in its segment today,” Boneham added.

The new Ford Classic Titanium is available in 6 colors- Paprika Red, Panther Black, Diamond White, Chill Metallic, Moon Dust Silver and Sea Grey.

The driver’s car gets loaded and continues offering unmatched value for money!!
