Ford goes further to enable chasing dream with “One Tank. 1500 Kms. One Classic Story” Campaign

Ford India flagged off the “One Tank.1500Kms.One Classic Story” campaign on August 10 with its popular sedan Ford Classic. The campaign will provide a platform for 11 individuals to embark on an amazing drive to live their dreams.

Each team has been given a Ford Classic Titanium series with one tank full of fuel. These individuals, who have been chosen from various walks of life, have been paired with a cinematographer on their drive, who will capture their dream journey on video. The eight cars with 11 participants will be flagged off from Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai.

With its class leading fuel economy, smart features and intuitive design, it is a brand that personifies individuals who have a passion and the conviction to realize them. With the ‘One Tank. 1500 kms. One Classic Story’ we are giving the participants a platform to go further and realize their passions and dreams,” said Anurag Mehrotra, vice president, Marketing, Ford India.

Participating in the drive are Magician Sandeep Bali ,  photographer Priyanka Sachar , Techie Abhishek Baxi , Musicians Gaurav Vaz & Raghu Dixit, Food enthusiast/chef Madhu Menon , cricket buffs Rahul Banker & Akash Jain , music/movie buffs Errol Marks & Jaey Gajera and  Artist Vinod Chandra

Commenting on his journey, celebrated musicians Raghu Dixit and Gaurav Vaz, who will drive from Bangalore to Pusad, Maharashtra to meet and play music with the farmers who have shaped their lives through Rang De – a non-profit peer to peer microcredit lending platform said, “I am excited to be a part of the Ford campaign ‘One Tank.1500kms.One Classic Story’, because my passion is music and my dream is to use music as a means to inspire a revolution in India. My journey to Pusad, where I will get a chance to jam with the farmers, is my way to recognize their contribution to our development.”

Madhu Menon, celebrity chef and food photographer will embark on an expedition to explore the Muslim cuisine at Hyderabad. “What better time to go to Hyderabad than Ramzan, when there is an array of delicious food everywhere. My quest is to find the most authentic and delicious Muslim cuisine and share that with my friends on social media,” he added.

Photographer Priyanka Sachar is seeking to capture the emotions that will run high during the change of guards at the Wagah Border on Independence Day. Also participating in the drive to realize their dreams are magician Sandeep Bali, techie Abhishek Baxi, movie buffs Errol Marks and Jaey Gajera.

This is a drive that carries a treasure of creativity and will be captured by budding film makers/cinematographers who will accompany the participants on their pan-India journey to help capture and narrate the participant’s Classic story.

The campaign will culminate with a contest offering the opportunity for the cinematographer of the most engaging and popular Classic Story to win a cash prize of Rs 100,000/-

The participants will drive the recently launched Ford Classic Titanium—Ford’s highly popular sedan with nine new segment leading features and known for its class leading fuel-efficiency and driving comfort. The Ford Classic has already over 125,000 proud owners in India.
