Eicher Polaris Pvt. Ltd. handed over the key of Multix – India’s first personal utility vehicle to Mr. Ganesh Narayan Choudhary- the first owner of Multix in the country yesterday. Eicher Polaris Private Ltd has commenced the deliveries of Multix in different towns and cities of the country. The dealerships across the country are fully functional with the manufacturing headquarters in Kukas, Jaipur. Prices for the Eicher-Polaris Multix starts at Rs. 2,32,850 (ex-showroom, Jaipur).
Along with Mr. Ganesh Narayan Choudhary, four other consumers also received keys of Multix in accordance to their preferences. The Multix has been purpose-built for independent businessmen. The vehicle can seat a family of five along with their luggage, and can be adapted to create large storage space of 1918 liters. The Multix is further equipped with X-PORT – a power-take-off point, which can generate power of up to 3 KW that can be used for lighting homes and powering a variety of professional equipment.

The Multix rides on independent suspension systems, has a class-leading ground clearance of 225mm, and a 510.7cc, 9.8bhp diesel engine that provides mileage of 28.45 kmpl. Multix’s showroom is present in 32 cities so that prospective customers can book one for INR 2999. Eicher Polaris Pvt Ltd. has entered into a strategic tie–up with Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited (Chola) to extend auto retail finance options to prospective Multix consumers. Chola’s financing options will offer finance upto 85% of the vehicle prize, at a very competitive rate.
