It’s been a sorrow story for Fiat in India for quite a few years. They have some of the best products in their respective segments, marred by poor service support and bad resale value. We would have expected Fiat to start the New Year 2012 with a bang at the Expo with some smashing new products. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

Fiat India will have upgraded Punto and Linea at their exhibit as the two main models for the show. The new Punto features a revamped front with new headlights, taillights and a larger grille. The interiors too are new. We just hope the car gets the 1.4-liter multi-air heart if it has to have a fighting chance though.

Not much is known about the Fiat Linea upgrade, but expect subtle changes to the exterior and interior styling.  Fiat will also announce the inauguration of its exclusive brand boutiques christened Fiat Caffe at the Expo on Jaunary 6th.
