Ferrari coming to India before 2010 end

We recently brought to you the news of global exotic carmakers such as Bugatti and Aston Martin coming to India. Now, arguably the best sports car maker in the world – Ferrari is going to join the list of these supercar makers. If a report from BSmotoring is to be believed, Luca Di Montezemolo has told BBC that he plans to introduce the Italian brand in India before 2011 end, and the first Ferrari dealership may come into existence in the next six to eight months.
Luca showed his intent to bring the Ferrari brand to India while talking with BBC news. The company will most likely begin its operations in the country by opening two dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi first. The first dealership of Ferrari is expected to come up in South Mumbai.
Ferrari will make its entry into India in association with Tata Motors. Ratan Tata is on the board of Fiat Auto, and an association with Tata Motors will spell enormous convenience for the Italian firm. Ferrari’s international lineup of cars comprises of beauties like the458 Italia, the 599 GTB, the California and the 612 Scaglietti.
