Suzuki UK has come up with a new limited edition model of the highly successful Swift supermini in Great Britain. The new Suzuki Swift SZ-L Special Edition model is based on the mid-level SZ3 trim, and production of the new model will be restricted to just 500 units. Suzuki Swift SZ-L Special Edition booking procedure would commence on March 1 and the car will be available in both three and five door body variants. The new Swift SZ-L special edition prices start at 10,899 GBP for the three-door and 11,316 GBP for the five-door variant.
Talking about the exterior changes on the outside, the Swift SZ-L comes in a 2-tone metallic paintwork and is available in Boost Blue and Cosmic Black body color options. For both the options, the car’s roof, spoilers and outside rear view mirrors come painted in a contrasting shade of White.
On the inside, the Swift SZ-L gets silver stitching on the seats, steering wheel and gear lever. The car also gets a different design on the fabric upholstery.
The SZ-L comes quite feature laden and has safety features such as ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, ESP, dual front airbags, curtain airbags, side airbags and a driver knee airbag. Also, the car sports LED daytime running lights and cruise control on this trim.
Powering the new Suzuki Swift SZ-L is a 1.2-liter four cylinder petrol engine that has a max power of 94 PS at 6,000 rpm and produces a peak torque of 118 Nm at 4,800 rpm. The engine comes mated to a five speed manual gearbox.
