EICMA: Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber / Roamer, Aprilia RSV4RF ready to rock!

Piaggio is all set to rock this year’s EICMA show with the latest offerings from its sub brands. The auxiliary bike divisions of the Piaggio Group, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia are geared up with a pair of V9 twins and a 230 horsepower beast for their EICMA event stalls.

The V9 Bobber and Roamer V9 will be unveiled by Moto Guzzi and Aprilia will unleash the RSV4RF.

The V9 Bobber as well as the V9 Roamer are powered by a new 850cc 90 degree V-twin engine with shaft drive.The Bobber features a new frame and design. The Roamer shares the design and tech with its V9 twin. The bikes will roll out with standard ABS, adjustable traction control, and a USB socket They are described as ‘the magnificent medium-size custom bikes’ by their maker.

On the visual front the Bobber seems like a down-to-business bike, with beefed up tyres and black  . On the other hand the Roamer looks more relaxed in white, and stands with old school looks with the chrome accents.

And now from the Aprila factory, the RSV4RF.

Since the introduction of the RSV4 in 2009, it has been a successful platform for Aprilia. The 2016 version represents their crucial step in the ongoing development of the RSV4 model. For 2016, the RSV4 will roll out in two designations—the RR and the limited-edition RF, of which only 500 will be made. The EICMA event will witness the release of the 200hp beast, the RSV4RF.

This Italian superbike will be powered by a 999cc DOHC 65-degree V4, 16 valve engine which is claimed to spout out a power of over 201 hp at 13000 rpm and a max torque of 115 nm at 10500 rpm. For professional riders, and enthusiasts, Aprilia Racing is offering custom bikes, in accordance with the regulations of the Superstock and SBK championships in the various countries, with different chassis, electronics and engines, whose top configuration will exceed the 230 HP threshold!

These bikes are sure going to grab a lot of eyeballs at the EICMA event. The Italian manufacturer is also expected to introduce more two wheeler surprises, scamblers, caferacers, superbikes we can expect them all!
