Honda has unveiled its new, facelifted 2017 CBR650F at the ongoing 2016 EICMA show. For the new model, the power has increased to 90hp@11,000 rpm, up by 4hp over the previous version. The torque is up, marginally, too rated at 64Nm@8000 rpm.
Gear ratios have been shortened to ensure harder acceleration through the mid-range. Along with increased in power, Honda is also claiming to have induced a new raucous growl to the engine, which emanates from down low and grows to a fast-spinning howl as revs rise.
Honda’s naked four-cylinder middleweight CB650F, sharing the platform with the faired version also gains similar increase in power and a boisterous induction roar. New stripped-back styling highlights the engine as a styling update.
The chassis of the bike has been honed, too, with a Showa Dual Bending Valve front fork and revised Nissin front brake calipers. The fairing has been restyled too – it looks sharper and highlights the engine. In the overall look and feel, the new 2017 CBR1000RR is reminiscent of the new 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade. The headlight and taillight are now LED.
The CBR650F engine is EURO 4 compliant, more efficient and Honda claims a range of 330+ km for the bike with the 17.3L fuel tank.

- Millenium Red
- Pearl Metalloid White
- Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic
