The Ford EcoSport is the most awaited cars of recent times. The Ford EcoSport, which is still a few weeks away from its India launch, is a Renault Duster adversary and looks promising enough to become the next big thing from Ford India.

Both the Ford EcoSport and the Renault Duster are on sale in Brazil car market and EcoSport has been outselling the Duster in Brazil since quite some time now. Ford’s Brazilian subsidiary has sold as many as 6,397 units of the EcoSport in Brazil. On comparison with the 4,050 units of the Duster that Renault has managed to sell in the same time period, the sales of EcoSport are considerably higher.

In Brazil, the EcoSport is priced higher than the Duster. The fact that the EcoSport outsells the Duster even on being pricier speaks a lot about the former’s appeal. In Brazil, both the EcoSport and the Dusters are available with petrol engine options only.

The India spec Ford EcoSport will come in three engine variants- 1.5 litre normally aspirated petrol, 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel and the 1.0 litre turbocharged EcoBoost petrol engine that has been making a lot of news ever since its debut.

The Ford Ecosport will be sold in India in four trim levels- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Optional pack.
