After the success of its very first edition in 2013, Bikers for Good is all set for the launch of the WE’RE ONE 2014-15 Calendar. Being the only motorcycle club in India that rides solely for social causes, Bikers for Good has this time taken this initiative to the next level. On the 30th of March, 2014, Delhi’s best motorcycle clubs and brands do their bit for the female fraternity, with a commitment for an entire year.
Speaking about the same, Mohit Ahuja, founder of Bikers for Good, and the man behind this initiative said, “The idea behind WE’RE ONE was to bring all bikers together as one brotherhood, which we did successfully last year. This time, we thought of giving the WE’RE ONE Calendar a theme, and what’s better than “POWER TO WOMEN” considering Delhi’s the rape capital of India.”
When asked about how bikers are going to power women, Jeet Kandhari, Admin, Bikers for Good added, “We have 12 different motorcycle clubs and brands participating in the Calendar. Over the past 5 months, we’ve personally shot the pictures of the clubs with their message for the women. In addition to this, we’ve committed to do a ride with each club for the cause in the months to come.”
Scheduled for a launch at the Bird Automotive Showroom in Vasant Kunj, the launch shall be attended by more than 300 superbikers belonging to various motorcycle clubs namely G.O.D.S., Born 2 Ride Motorcycle Club, Harley Owners Group etc. participating in the same.
