An upcoming Ducati dealership was recently spotted in Gurgaon, India, a few days ago indicating a come back of the Italian two-wheeler major into the country. Now, reports from India’s import and export data website Zauba suggest that Ducati has already begun importing its products and spare parts into the country. The list of motorcycles imported in India include the Ducati Diavel Carbon, Monster 696 and Multistrada 1200. All these models have come via the completely built unit (CBU) route.
We feel that Ducati should bring its entire international line up available in India including the Scrambler, Monster, Hypermotard, Panigale, Diavel, Multistrada and the Streetfighter. The Indian two-wheeler aficionados can now lay their hands and proudly parade around on these Italian machines with prices for the most affordable Ducati, the Scrambler, speculated to start from Rs 7-8 lakh.
With the dealerships almost in place and motorcycles imported into India, we expect Ducati to commence operations soon. We excited to see the new products into the country, are you? Share your thoughts and opinions with us through comments section below.
