Back in 2012, Chevrolet had showcased the Trailblazer SUV at the Auto Expo 2012. The company has been already testing the SUV for its Indian launch and now according to a report, it has surfaced that the Chevrolet Trailblazer will be launched in India with a single variant.
Upon its launch sometime in October this year, the Trailblazer will lock horns with the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. All these rivals come with the option of various variants that offer 2WD, 4WD and manual as well as automatic gearbox combinations. Initially, Chevrolet will be launching the Trailblazer with only a 2WD variant paired to an automatic transmission.
The Trailblazer seats 7 people with the seats arranged in a 2+2+3 layout. Among the engine options available on the SUV, Chevy will be launching the diesel variant which is powered by a 2.8 liter-4 cylinder oil burner churning out 197 bhp and 500 Nm of twisting force. This engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission.
The Chevy Trailblazer will be loaded with the following safety equipment:

Feature list will also include a touchscreen infotainment system with CD/USB/aux/Bluetooth compatibility, cruise control and leather seats.
