Yamaha has been in news for its new YZF-R3 entry level sportsbike. But a small mistake on the website led to the addition of Yamaha’s upcoming 2015 FJ-09 image in the FZ-09 photo gallery. Although Yamaha has rectified the error, a member of ADVRider website managed to download the photograph before it was taken off.
The FJ-09 is based on Yamaha’s naked MT-09 motorcycle platform. The FJ-09 is an adventure series motorcycle that will make its debut at the EICMA motor show in November. At the heart of the FJ-09 will most probably be the 847cc three-cylinder engine that is found on the MT-09. The engine will churn out 115 hp of power and 85 Nm of torque.
The suspension on the FJ-09 seems taller and has more travel than before. There is sufficient room between the wheel and the subframe for the the swingarm to travel more during those offroading rides. The seating position seems upright and should be comfortable for long highway hauls.

Yes there are alot of customers in India.Will it come to the United States Of America.When and how much.I’m hoping it will be about $9199 as I think that is fair for it.The 2015 FZ 09 is $8190.
We hope it does. Sadly, there is no word from Yamaha about the FJ-09 for Indian markets.
