For the US market, the new BMW M3 Sedan will have a starting price of 62,000 USD. The new BMW M4 coupe, however, will have a higher starting price of 64,200 USD for the US car market. Please note- The prices that are being mentioned here do not include the 925 USD for destination and handling charges. The two new vehicles will go on sale with following paint schemes- Mineral White, Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Mineral Grey, Yas Marina, Austin Yellow, Sakhir Orange and Silverstone.
Both the all new BMW M3 sedan and BMW M4 coupe are powered by a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbocharged engine that has a max power of 431 HP (317 kW) and peak torque of 406 lb-ft (550 Nm). When bought with the optional dual-clutch 7-speed M gearbox, both the new BMW M3 and BMW M4 will be capable of dismissing 100kmph from standstill in just 4.1 seconds. Even with the standard six speed manual transmission, the cars can complete this acceleration run in just 4.3 secs. With the standard transmission, the cars have an electronically restricted top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). With the optional M Driver’s package though, the top whack can be raised to 174 mph (280 kmph).
