BMW Motorrad, through one of its social media handles, has said that the G 310 R will be launched in India during spring 2017 (March to June) while the launch of its adventure tourer sibling, the G 310 GS will be launched in the second half of the same year. The latter recently made its world debut at the 2016 EICMA show held in Milan.
Both the models will draw power from a 313cc fuel injected, liquid cooled engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 34 hp at 9,500 rpm while the peak torque of 28 Nm comes up at 7,500 rpm. Transmission duties will be taken care of by a six speed transmission sending power to the rear wheel.
