BMW announces several new additions for the 4 Series Coupe and X5

Bavarian premium car maker BMW recently announced many new updates for its new 4-Series Coupe and X5 models.

Come November 2013 and the 420i and 430d will get xDrive all-wheel drive system as optional, with the 435d getting it as standard. With 313 PS  of max power form a twin-turbo six-cylinder in-line oil burner, the 435d will become the flagship variant of the 4 Series Coupe. The Six pot diesel motor would come mated to an eight speed auto ‘box.

BMW-X5-Updates

The new X5 SAV will also get some updates in the form of as many as three new engine options. These updates would be launched in December this year, with the sDrive25d becoming first-ever X5 with four-cylinder engine and the first-ever rear-wheel drive X5 model. The motor also gets an all wheel drive system for the xDrive25d.

Other new motor include a 306PS six-cylinder in-line petrol unit (for the X5 xDrive35i) and a 313PS six-cylinder in-line diesel engine (for xDrive40d).

The 4-Series Coupe also gets a new trim level called Modern Line. Modern Line includes new alloy wheels, aluminum satin inserts, Oyster colored upholstery, and variable-colour ambient lighting.
