Bajaj Auto Ltd, one of the most popular bike makers in India, has launched yet another model in its Discover range of executive commuter bikes. Dubbed as the new Bajaj Discover 125, the new bike goes on sale for a starting price of INR 46,669 (for drum brake variant). The disc brake equipped variant is priced at INR 48,619. (All prices are ex-showroom Maharashtra)

If the manufacturer of the new bike is to be believed, the new Discover 125 boasts of best in class power, pick-up and drivability. Powering the bike is a DTS-i enabled 125cc engine that boasts of a 4-valve Pentroof combustion chamber. The single pot motor has a max power of 11.5 PS, which makes the bike the most powerful offering in its price bracket. Peak torque is pegged at 10.4Nm and the bike has a claimed fuel economy of 76kmpl!

The new Discover 125 looks much like the 125ST, which was launched over a year ago. However, instead of a mono-shock rear suspension, the new bike gets dual nitrox charged rear shock absorbers. The bike also gets alloy wheels and a front petal disc for the flagship variant.
