Auto Expo 2016: Goodyear Brings Iconic Tyre Technologies to Auto Expo 2016

Good Year showcased some visionary Concept Tyres to Offer a Glimpse into the Future. The company’s “Challenging the Limits” display included two ground-breaking concept tyres unveiled for the first time in India that could radically transform the role of car tyres in the future. Though these are concept products, the futuristic technologies stretch the imagination and provide a peek of practical innovations on the horizon. The first concept – named “BHO3” – offers the possibility of charging the batteries of electric cars by transforming the heat generated by the rolling tyre into electrical energy. The second concept – named “Triple Tube” – contains three tubes that adjust tyre inflation pressure in response to changing road conditions, delivering new levels of performance and versatility.
