Powering the new CLA45 AMG is a 4 pot, 2.0-liter, turbocharged, direct injection petrol engine that has a max power of 360bhp and a peak torque of 450Nm. The engine comes mated to Mercedes dual clutch 7-speed transmission and the drivetrain offers as many as three driving modes. Power is sent to all four wheels by the Mercedes 4MATIC system. The CLA45 AMG rides on 18 inch wheels shod with 235/40R18 rubber.
If company provided figures are to be believed, the car can accelerated from standstill to 100kmph in 4.5 seconds and cam hit a top speed of 250 kmph (electronically limited).
Visual differences between the regular variants and the CLA45 AMG include more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers and AMG sport steering wheel and gear lever. The CLA45 AMG gets three stage ESP with Curve Dynamic Assist
It is expected that the new Mercedes CLA45 AMG price in India would be around INR 35 lakhs figure.
