In its second generation now, the Activa has been bringing segment leading sales to HMSI since 1999. The Activa has been through almost half a dozen upgrades and we recently saw the scooter getting Honda’s much discussed Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine. The new, updated engine promises more refinement and fuel economy to the users of the very popular auto scoot. We also saw Honda introducing the Activa-i some days back. The Activa-i is basically a more stylish, lighter and cheaper variant that is primarily targeted at teeny boppers who found Activa to be a tad too mundane.

It is very probable that the upcoming new Honda Activa 125 will further consolidate HMSI’s position as the leading scooter maker in the country.

  1. Too much chrome on the front part. The small rear wheel spoiled the look. And the rear grab bar is the ugliest part.

  2. I agree with spitfire, Honda has gone wrong with Activa 125. The power output is 8.6 bhp whereas Hero Dash 110 scooter output is 8.45 bhp. Hero Dash is more stylish and it has more features. Suzuki new 110 scooter Let’s power output is 8.7 bhp. Honda should have given the 125cc engine in Aviator and designed like Honda Lead 125 of Honda Vietnam.

  3. The activa looks best in its 110cc avatar and not in this one, i do not like the bigger front wheels and smaller rear wheel setup(personally i hate Aviator for this layout). It totally upsets the design of the scooter when viewed in the profile, it looks rear heavy. I was expecting a bolder looking Activa and not an Aviator-ish Activa, Honda should learn a thing or two from TVS(with regards to TVS JUPITER).

  4. Great to see Finally honda has adopted telescopic forks but Does the new 125 activa engine has HET? and most importantly what is the size of front wheel. 12 inch or more?
