The new DC Eleron SUV price has been pegged at INR 35 lakhs and here are all the details of the new vehicle.
The hihglight of the Eleron is its ‘Targa’ top and powering the new SUV is a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine that has a max power of 265hp and peak torque of 360 Nm. This motor will come mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and power will be distributed to all the four wheels. Suspension duty is courtesy double wishbone setup at front and air suspension at the rear.
The Eleron is 5,055 mm long, 1,965 mm wide, 1,710 mm high and rides on 22 inch wheels. The wheelbase for the Eleron measures 3,090 mm. The new SUV is equipped with disc brakes and boasts of a limited slip differential at the rear. The new SUV also sports a drive-by-wire technology. The Eleron has a space frame chassis that is made of carbon composite and DC Design says that the chassis has excellent torsional stiffness.
If company gigures are to be belived, the new DC Eleron can dismiss 100kmph from standstill in just 9 seconds and has a top-speed of 200 kmph. Safety features include ABS and ESP.
