Audi India opens Madurai showroom, third outlet in Tamil Nadu for the marque

Audi opened the doors to their third showroom in the state of Tamil Nadu, this one being in Madurai. The 40,000 sq. ft. showroom was inaugurated by Joe King, Head, Audi India and Ananda Krishnan, Managing Director, Audi Madurai and Audi Coimbatore. Not only will this showroom feature all Audi India models, it will also sport the brand-new Audi TT Coupé. Joe King, Head, Audi India said, “In the recent past, we have witnessed an exponential surge in demand for luxury cars coming out of Tamil Nadu. Opening a third showroom in the third largest city of the state is the next logical step after Chennai and Coimbatore. This 3S showroom reinstates our commitment and seriousness towards this market. Audi Madurai will enable us to command a leadership position in the state and also act as a catalyst towards our dominance in the Southern part of India.”

Audi Madurai unveiled the new TT Coupé for Tamil Nadu.

The 40,000 sq. ft. 3S (Sales, Service and Spare part) facility is located on the Madurai-Dindigul NH and combines a car showroom and service workshop under the same roof. The new showroom’s architecture is dominated by a honeycomb facade and eight cars displayed across an area of 8300 sq ft.

There are 8 models on display and there’s a service workshop, too.

This new Audi Madurai showroom also incorporates Audi Shop and Audi Exclusive. This will allow customers to buy the German marque’s branded merchandise items, if they choose to. Ananda Krishnan, Managing Director, Audi Madurai and Audi Coimbatore said, “We are proud to renew our association with Audi in Madurai after Coimbatore. Being a dominant luxury car brand in this region, we are committed towards delivering global Audi luxury experience to our customers. Audi’s technical leadership globally and its unmatched promise towards offering superlative luxury is what has driven us to deliver this world class 3S facility.” Audi India has tracked sales of 11,292 units for the period April 2014 – March 2015, which is a 11.51% increase in sales YoY.
