Audi A3 Concept At Geneva

Audi has finally come up with a much required notchback saloon, the Audi A3.  The new car is powered by the 2.5 liter, 5-cylinder turbocharged VW engine, which develops a massive power of 408PS and an astounding 500Nm of torque with a top speed of 240 km\hr. Impressive figures, those.

Even though it is endowed with so much nasty power it still manages to give a decent fuel economy of 13.18 km per liter and emission figures which are not bad either. Talking about the interiors, the inside feels no less than a modern cockpit. The aviation style AC vents, MMI, sports style seats, the Signature Audi multipurpose steering wheel, professional sound, WLan hotspot in the car, iPad holders for the passengers are just some of the features to name. The A3 features the Audi drive select dynamic system which is the first time it is introduced offering five different driving modes one of which is the maximum economy mode.

On the outside the A3 incorporates carbon fibre reinforced plastic at the grille surroundings, the front air intakes, doors and mirror elements. A3 also sports the 20” alloys and aluminium is used in the bonnet, doors and the tailgate for light weight. That’s the reason for the A3 weighing just 1,540 kg.

As a package the A3 sounds and looks amazing. Even though this one is a concept it’s no less than a production vehicle. Looks good enough to us to hit the production line tomorrow.

  1. Could you please quote prices(On road) in other cities/locations. You must understand that all your readers do not live in Delhi and given the type of customers in that place with the "Buying Power" (YOU CAN SEE THE STORIES IN THE HEADLINES DAILY)prices wont really make sense/difference for Delhi.
