Armaan Ebrahim from India selected for Lamborghini Young Drivers Program 2016

The Young Drivers Program, one of Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s four talent programs for youngsters, is starting its third year. For the 2016 season, thirteen drivers aged 26 and under have been selected for the three continental series of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, Europe, Asia and North America. Armaan Ebrahim from India is one of the selected thirteen. The aim of the Young Drivers Program is to train youngsters to become motorsport professionals; not only on track, but also outside the cockpit of a racing car.

“It is a proud moment for our country and Automobili Lamborghini India. We are delighted to have ArmaanEbrahim from India as one among the thirteen drivers selected globally for Lamborghini Young Drivers Program 2016. He is the first Indian driver to make it to this list. This shows our commitment to Indian market and to develop Indian talent for motor sport in India and globally.” said Mr. Sharad Agarwal, Head, Lamborghini India.

To achieve these goals, the members of the Young Drivers Program are involved in a program that includes a number of activities carried out in close contact with the motorsport department of Automobili Lamborghini. Speaking on his selection, Armaan Ebrahim said, “I am extremely happy to have been selected for LamborghiniYoung Drivers Program 2016. This program will give me a platform to furtherenhance my skills as a professional race driver and I am looking forward to this experience. ”
