And This Is What The Interiors Of The 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire Look Like

Assuming that you’ve already seen (and already judged) the exteriors of the 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire, here’s how the interiors add up. Now, Maruti has made sure that the third-gen Dzire doesn’t remind its buyer of the 2017 Swift that its based on. So you get completely revamped exteriors that don’t look anything like its hatchback sibling. The same philosophy continues inside as well, with the new Dzire getting its own dashboard that looks like nothing the one inside the new Swift, apart from different coloration and trims.

The new Dzire gets a dual-tone (beige + black) interior with chrome and faux wood accents. The twin pod instrument cluster is very Mercedes-AMG like, and the dual tone (leather + faux wood) steering wheel is another style element that’s trickled down from more premium cars. The centre console is angled towards the driver, and hosts Maruti’s Smartplay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay functionality.

Top-end Z grades will feature steering mounted audio/telephony controls, a MID in the instrument cluster, and automatic AC.  However, the 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire misses out on cruise control and the 4.2-inch MID from the Baleno. As for power, the new Swift Dzire will continue to offer the existing 1.3-litre diesel and 1.2-litre petrol engines, with the former clubbed to either a 5-speed MT or an AMT, and the latter paired to a 5-speed MT.
