2014 Kawasaki Z1000 India Price

The 2014 Kawasaki  Z1000 is on sale in India for INR 12.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). The bike comes to us via CBU route.

2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Engine Details

The new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 is powered by an updated version of the earlier model’s engine.

For the new bike, the 1043cc DOHC liquid-cooled 16-valve inline 4 cylinder engine has a max power of 142ps@10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 111 nm @ 7300 rpm.

The increase in the performance figures is courtesy a remapped ECU, revised camshaft timing and a new Cold Air Intake (CAI) system that routes fresh air to the airbox via extra ducts located at the front with a new non-woven air filter element that enables optimal flow at high RPM.

2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Frame

The new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 is built in a new aluminum frame that is similar to the that of the new Ninja ZX10R. This frame has been casted together with the swingarm pivot pieces, thereby totally eliminating the requirement of welds.

2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Suspension

The new 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 comes equipped with fully adjustable 41mm inverted SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston) front forks and a new preload+rebound-adjustable back-link rear monoshock

2014 Kawasaki Z1000 Brakes

The 2014 Z1000 comes kitted out with 310mm twin petal disc front brakes and 250mm single petal disc rear brake. The bike gets Bosch-supplied ABS as standard.
