2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 India Price
The 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is on sale in India for INR 12.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). The bike comes to us via CBU route.
2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Engine Details
The new 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 shares its engine with the new Z1000. This means that the bike is powered by a 1043cc DOHC liquid-cooled 16-valve inline 4 cylinder engine that has a max power of 142ps@10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 111 nm @ 7300 rpm.
The increase in performance figures is courtesy a remapped ECU, revised camshaft timing and a new Cold Air Intake system, all of which work together to bestow the motor with added performance and efficiency.
Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Brakes and Traction control
The bike gets twin 300mm petal disc brake at front and 250cmm single petal disc brake at rear. ABS comes standard and has been supplied by BOSCH.
KRTC traction control system comes as standard on the new bike.
With the launch of these two new bikes, Kawasaki India has extended its product portfolio to total of six motorcycles- Ninja 300, Ninja 650, Ninja ZX-10R, ZX-14R, Ninja 1000 and the new Z1000.
