As is very much a well known fact, coming our way this festive season is the much publicized Bajaj Pulsar 375. Today, we have decided to compile and present to you all the details and spy pics of the 2014 Bajaj Pulsar 375.

It is being said that the upcoming Bajaj flagship is currently in penultimate stages of development and will be launched just days after Diwali.  As is obvious, the P375 will be based on the recently launched KTM 390 Duke and as we have been saying, we feel that the Pulsar 375 might very well begin a new chapter in the affordable performance bike scene of our country.

We have come to know that the good folks at Bajaj intend to promote the upcoming bike as the first “Super Sports” motorcycle of India. While we really know better than to relate the P375 with litre class faired machines, we are pretty sure that the Pulsar 375 would soon become the sportiest looking product by Bajaj ever.

As can be made out from the spy pics we have with us, the Bajaj Pulsar 375 will be the first fully faired Bajaj bike! The same pics also reveal that the bike would come equipped with twin projector headlamps, conventional telescopic front forks (the KTM 390 Duke has USDs) and ABS.

The bike also seems to sport the same instrument cluster that is found on the Pulsar 200NS. Also, the pilot lamps on the Pulsar 375 have been placed in a typical Pulsar manner. The similarities continue with details such as an aircraft type fuel lid, a similar cowl around the instrument panel and tank design that has a hint of that of the 200NS.

Powering the Pulsar 375 will be a re-worked 375cc, single cylinder motor that powers the Duke 390. The P375’s engine could benefit from fuel injection, a 4 valve head and the DTSi tech. from Bajaj.

With a ‘never-seen-before’ styling and strong engine performance, the Indian bike buying lot is looking all set for a treat this Diwali. We really can’t wait to spend an entire day riding the Pulsar 375 on a well paved mountain road! What about you?

The Bajaj Pulsar 375 could be priced around INR 1.7 lakhs.
