All new Hyundai i10 to be first produced at upgraded Turkey plant. World debut in 2013

The Joint Venture between Hyundai and Turkey’s Kibar holding will be soon seen investing as much as 600 million U.S. dollars to upgrade its Turkish manufacturing facility. Once upgraded, this unit can dish out more than 2,00,000 cars every year. The next generation of Hyundai i10 , which should debut in 2013, will be first manufactured at the Turkish plant before coming to India. will be manufactured at this plant along with the Fluidic i20 introduced recently in India. Production of the next gen i10 will begin by the end of 2013.

Safely expect the next gen i10 to feature Hyundai’s fluidic design language and it is being said that the car will look a tad similar to i30. The new gen i10 will come with 3 and 5 door styles in international market and will have a 1.1 litre diesel engine option that makes a lot of sense for India. It is also probable that the new gen i10 will feature Hyundai’s upcoming 3 cyl 800cc gasoline motor.
