The Fiat Punto and the Linea have surely done a world of good to the Fiat Group. In India, the duo has been the car maker’s comeback products and has done a reasonable job in injecting some much needed desirability into the troubled brand.
Now, the Fiat Group have revealed a part of its future plans and it has emerged that the Linea and the Punto brand are slated to get a complete model replacement by 2014 and 2015 respectively.
The Punto started its life in 2005 and has been through numerous updates, the latest being the Punto Evo that was launched in some of the car markets recently. The Linea sedan, which was released in 2007, too has recently got a facelift for some of the markets it is sold in.
The new Fiat Punto and Linea will feature the latest Fiat engines and will offer more space along with possessing the tradition Fiat strengths.
