Remember the AM-RB 001, the the fastest street- legal car in the world which was developed by Aston Martin and Red Bull? Well, the limited run hypercar which was limited to 175 examples, has already been sold out. Aston Martin confirmed that all 150 road car versions of its AM-RB 001 hypercar have been sold out. Moreover, Aston Martin also sold 25 track-only specials of the hypercar. Customer deliveries of the AM-RB 001 will commence in early 2019.

If you missed our previous report, the AM-RB 001 will feature a power-to-weight ratio of 1000 bhp per tonne, a figure only usurped by the Formula 1 inspired Caparo T1 hyper car. To put things in perspective, the supremely quick LaFerrari makes a ‘mere’ 628.6 bhp per tonne in comparison. The hypercar will feature a naturally aspirated, high-revving, mid-mounted V-12 that will drive the rear wheels only. Collective output would be northwards of 1000 bhp, with vehicle weight being targeted at less than 1000 kg.
