Regulars here would remember that we reported in detail when ‘The Ferrari’ was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Ferrari LaFerrari might have a really funny sounding name but has performance that might even put to shame a Russian combat aircraft.
Powering the LaFerrari is a 6.3 litre V12 engine that comes mated to Formula One inspired HY-KERS (HYbrid – Kinetic Energy Recovery System) to endow the sensuous car with 963 prancing horses. The LaFerrari (pardon the confusing Grammar) can dismiss 100 kmph from standstill in less than seconds
Now it is being said that Ferrari plans to soon launch a limited edition version of the LaFerrari that would be more powerful and of course, more expensive. This new version will be to the LaFerrari what the FXX was to the Enzo. The upcoming limited edition variant of the LaFerrari will be lighter in weight and will have considerably more power.
Safely expect it to cost more than £1.1 million (almost INR 9.30 crores).
