Not that the Peugeot RCZ-R isn’t a good looking car- it’s a stunning coupe to say the least, but Peugeot decided to add a little more flair. Teaming up with Italian motorcycle firm Bimota- it unveiled the Peugeot RCZ R Bimota special edition with a visually stimulating paint scheme.
But that’s not all, unlike the usual special edition cars- the enhancements delve deeper into that racy paint job. To start with, there is a full 34 bhp bump from its 1.6 litre turbo charge 4 cylinder engine taking the stock count from an already impressive 270 bhp to 304- all thanks to a custom exhaust, improved ECU and a revised bypass valve for the turbocharger.
To handle the extra power, the suspension has been lowered by 10mm with an uprated braking system comprising of 380mm discs with 4 piston calipers mounted on all black alloy wheels. Step inside and a Bimota themed red trim with an all leather and Alcantara interior greets you. Also on offer is a pair of racing bucket seats with storage space replacing the rear seats for storing a pair of motorcycle helmets and GoPro mounts.
Production figures and sales details aren’t made available yet- but whatever numbers Peugeot decides- the Peugeot RCZ R Bimota Special Edition should be disappear with buyers in a blink. Or you never know- this might just be a one off show piece.
