It is a widely known fact that the good folks at Tata Motors have been busy developing a a comprehensively updated Vista hatchback. The updated Vista is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo in February next year and today, what you see here are a couple of speculative renderings of the upcoming car. These renderings are courtesy our friends at TeamBHP, who have also posted some details along with these renders.

The 2014 Vista facelift will have plenty of cosmetic changes but will be based on the same platform that underpins the current version.

If these renderings are anything to go by, the car would come with an updated front fascia, which would be based on that of the Tata Manza Hybrid concept (seen at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo). Hence, the 2014 Vista could come with a sharper looking front end that will get new headlights, bumper, grille and probably a revised hood.

The car is also expected to sport a considerably changed rear end, which is likely to ditch the characteristic X-Mas taillamps. The interiors too are expected to get a comprehensive makeover.

Engine options are likely to be carried over from the current car, which means that the 2014 Vista will come with 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre petrol and 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine.

It is being expected that the Vista will also come with a slightly updated interior, which could feature a new, more premium upholstery, an updated In Car Entertainment system and some other new gizmos. It is also being said that the interiors of the updated Vista will boast of better fit and finish and will offer more in terms of quality.
