BMW owned British luxury car marquee Rolls Royce will be unveiling a new car at the 2013 Motor Show that will be held in early March.

The upcoming Roller promises to be an amalgam of luxury, power and sportiness and will probably become the most interesting Rolls Royce of recent times.

Christened as the Rolls Royce Wraith, the upcoming Roller will be the most powerful Rolls Royce car ever.

Mr. Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls Royce Motor Cars said: “Rolls-Royce Wraith will draw superlatives when it is unveiled in Geneva. Expect the boldest design, the most dramatic performance and the most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. We will present a model whose starting point is luxury, refinement and exclusivity, traits that have made Rolls-Royce the world’s pinnacle luxury good for the last 108 years.”

BMW recognizes that gone are the days when Rolls Royce cars were bought by the elderly and the concentration of wealth is fast trickling down to the young and the fearless. The Wraith promises to cater to this section of luxury car buyers by offering them high performance combined with unmatched luxury.

The Wraith is based on the Ghost, which in turn is based on the BMW 7 Series. The Wraith is a 2 door coupe with a ‘fastback-like’ roofline and seen here is a speculative rendering that gives us a glimpse of the upcoming car.

Powering the new car will be a 6.6-liter, twin-turbo, V12 engine with at least 600bhp of peak power.
