Seen here on this page are a handful of images that could be leaked official pics of the soon to be unveiled 2014 Audi A3 Cabriolet. These pics surface just few hours before the car’s official debut, which will happen tomorrow.
Looking instantly recognizable, the model has a familiar design that is closely knitted to that of the A3 Sedan. These images are of the S-Line variant, which will come with DRLs, metallic trim and a stylish trunk with an integrated spoiler.
Even on the inside, the car looks very much like the sedan variant, with the only notable change being a new switch that activates the retractable soft top.
Engine options for the A3 Cabrio aren’t yet known but it is expected to share its engines with the other variant. This means that the car could get a 140hp 1.4-liter TFSI petrol engine, a 180hp 1.8-liter TFSI petrol engine, a 150hp 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine and a 184hp 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine. The S3 Cabrio could be powered by a 300hp petrol engine.
