2013 Toyota Camry Comes With Added Features

New-Toyota-Camry

The very popular Toyota Camry D segment sedan recently got a set of new features for the international markets.

The 2013 model year of Camry gets colour matched arm rest, Soft-touch door panel trim, 6.1-inch touch screen display for infotainment system, stitched door panel accents for cars with Leather upholstery and a new rear cross traffic alert feature for the Blind Spot Identification System.

The 2013 Toyota Camry might be some time away from us, considering that it has been less than a year since the latest generation has been in India.

Unfortunately, the India spec Camry misses out on many features that are present in the international model. The India spec Camry has been priced significantly higher than the international model that is on sale in most markets abroad. However, it is saddening to see that Toyota Kirloskar Motors hasn’t been generous with the features that come with the India spec car.

The India spec Toyota Camry comes with a 2.5 litre petrol engine with 180 Bhp of max power and 233 Nm of peak torque. The engine sports variable valve technology and is mated to a 6 speed automatic gearbox. The features list on India spec car includes leather interiors, 8 way power adjustable driving seat, twin airbags, ABS and EBD among others. The Toyota Camry comes to us via CKD route and is priced at INR 23.8 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

It remains to be seen if TKM updates the features list on the Camry with new features introduced in international spec car.
