2013 Skoda Octavia to be Pricier than the Laura

Skoda says that the 2013 Octavia is the best Octy yet and the manufacturer has high hopes with the new car. Skoda feels that the new Octy will soon rub shoulders with some of the best selling cars in the world and Skoda has claimed that to the buyers, the new Octavia will be a great value for money proposition.

The UK price list for the 2013 Skoda Octavia is out and the entry level petrol variant has a price of GBP 15,990. The price for the top of the line diesel variant is GBP 18,040. The car will be sold in as many as three trim levels for each engine variant- S, SE and Elegance.

From UK price list, it has now become for sure that Skoda plans to sell the new car at a considerably higher price than the outgoing model. Skoda says that the higher price is justified by more equipment and features. For example, Skoda says that the entry level S variant has about GBP 3,500 worth of extra equipment over the outgoing car The top of the line Elegance trim is being said to have GBP 5,300 worth of more features. Also, the new Octy is a much bigger car than the model it replaces.

Safely expect the 2013 Skoda Octavia to be more expensive than the Laura when it goes on sale in our country.
