Hyundai has launched the new Santa Fe 5 seater in the North American market. Dubbed as the Santa Fe Sport, the latest from Hyundai is a short wheelbase version of the popular SUV brand. The 7 seater version that will make it to Indian market will be simply called as Santa Fe. The prices of 7 seater variant haven’t been announced yet. The Santa Fe Sport comes with a price tag of $24,450 (INR 13.56 lakhs) and is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that sends power to the front wheels. Also on offer is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that pumps out 264hp-269 lb-ft and comes with a starting price of $27,700. All Santa Fe Sport models come with a 6-speed automatic transmission and optional AWD mechanism.
Features on the car include 17-inch mag wheels, Hill-start Assist Control and Downhill Brake Control, front, side, curtain and driver’s knee airbags, LED brake and headlight accents, remote keyless entry system with alarm, a 6-speaker audio system with Bluetooth hands free, push button start, electroluminescent gauge cluster with color LCD trip computer and chrome exhaust pipes.
