Now, Exclusive Motors, the official Indian importer of Bentley cars, have launched the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed, the coupe on which the convertible is based, in the fast growing Indian car market. The Bentley Convertible GT Speed is the fastest four seat sports car in the world.
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed made its public debut at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed in June 2012 and is largely based on the second generation of Bentley Continental GT. Powering the Continental GT Speed is a twin turbo, W12 engine with a max. power output of 616 bhp and an ‘earth moving’ torque of 800 Nm. The Twin Turbo W12 engine is mated to a close ratio 8-speed automatic transmission that transmits power to all four wheels and enables the car to register a top whack of 329 kmph. The 0-100 kmph acceleration figure of the Bentley Continental GT Speed is around 4 seconds.
Differentiating the GTS from the ‘lesser’ variants is a lower ride height, revised air intakes, 21 inch wheels and gloss finished, blackened front grill. The interiors of the Continental GT Speed have been put together using high quality materials and come loaded with gadgets like a touchscreen multimedia infotainment system with an in-built 30GB storage capacity.
The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed goes on sale in India with a sticker price of INR 1.99 Crores (Ex showroom, Delhi).
