2011 Tata Indica Vista 90HP coming soon!

Yes, you read it right! The Indica Vista is now ready with a new 90HP engine. But before you think its the same engine that powers the FIAT Punto 90HP, let us cut short your imagination right here. This new variant is instead a petrol version that employs a 1.4-litre engine which produces 90 horsepower and 114 Nm. The engine is tuned for a flatter torque curve and also 100 Nm is available at as low as 1,600 rpm. The engine comes from the Tata Indigo Manza and manages to propel the new Vista variant from standstill to 60 km/h in less than 6 seconds. Naught to 100 km/h takes a little under 14 seconds. The new variant’s suspension is tweaked for better city comfort.

Inside the car the new Indica gets Black and Beige interiors. The Bluetooth compatible infotainment system (Blue5) also makes its way into the new Vista variant. Unfortunately there seem to be no steering mounted audio/telephone controls. The dashboard materials too have been tweak to reduce the NVH levels. The front seats now come with lumber support and the driver seat gets a height adjustment lever as well. The Vista 90HP will feature optional airbags and ABS as well. The new Vista will be available in two new colour schemes – Red (shown in the photos) and Blue (Punto?) when it goes on sale this Diwali. Stay tuned to Motoroids for a detailed road test of the new Indica Vista Refresh 90HP petorl!
