Latvian tuning house Dartz Motorz likes things to be a little over the top, scratch that- way over the top. The Prombron Black Shark is their hand-crafted, armor plated, mega-SUV based on on Mercedes-Benz GL platform. Dartz will give you a choice of two big motors- one being the twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter V8 running ons 18.8 psi of boost and producing 550 horsepower along with 560 lb-ft of torque; and the other being the 6.0-liter V12 that produces 612 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque- both engines from the Mercedes-AMG range. And if that still doesn’t satisfy your senses, you can spec it up to 1500 HP.

The tank-like body is made from Kevlar and titanium to protect against magnetic mines, and runs a B7 grade of protection. Inspired the Black Shark helicopter, it’ barely styled- just humongously sized. Besides the road-presence, one gets a bunch of James Bond themed attributes like electrochromatic privacy windows, a distance explosive detector and signal jammer, a ‘Golden Eye’ security system with a fingerprint and retina scanner. Apart from it’s looks, it can also scare off crowds using sirens and lights. This massive Dartz can also keep any eye out for any seedy business that’s happening around with the in-built cameras.

One more cruel trick is the disappearing door handles with a built-in anti-paparazzi shock-device- just because you can. Inside, don’t be surprised if you find a fair amount of gold and silver in the trim, besides that there’s  Xbox One/ PS4 connectivity, and leather engraved motives from aviation history- amongst other things. You can also get yours with a crystal-encrusted bonnet, and Dartz will happily put your customizable monogram on the imposing grille.

But the sad bit is you won’t amongst the lucky ones- Dartz will just make FIVE of these mega-SUVs. Apart from that there’ll be a one-off, special edition(as if the ‘regular’ are ones aren’t unique enough- Beats us!) for a wealthy London client, to be delivered in March next year.
