Modified Mahindra XUV

This Modified Mahindra XUV500 With A Chrome Black Wrap Gets Our Stamp Of Approval

Not that the Mahindra XUV500 is unattractive in any way (looks being subjective), but with more and more units of the model rolling out on Indian roads every day, one may want a unique identity for their SUV. One such XUV500 owner went ahead to make his SUV stand out and how!

Done up by the folks at Motormind Design and Drift Automotive, this XUV500 hailing from Kerala has got a long list of visual modifications. The first modification that comes to one’s notice is the aftermarket vinyl wrap in a shade of chrome black. While some would find the chrome wrap a bit too bling, we feel this shade of chrome black looks good, especially for a car this size.

A few other visual upgrades to this modified Mahindra XUV500 come in the form of an aftermarket grille, custom headlamps with LED DRLs, new front grille with integrated LED turn indicators and a roof-box for additional storage. Also on offer is a set of aftermarket alloys as well a wide body kit with chunkier fenders and wheel arches.

Details with respect to the interiors or the engine remain unknown. In the stock state of tune, the Mahindra XUV500’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine produces 138 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six speed manual transmission as standard while a six speed automatic transmission is available as an option.
