If you are an avid motorsports follower, you must have heard the name of Guy Martin. A British motorcycle racer, a lorry mechanic and an occasional TV presenter, Martin has arrived in India for a road trip from Delhi to Goa to participate in the Royal Enfield Rider Mania. Our Guy In India is an over 1,000 mile travelogue about Martin through different parts of India on a Royal Enfield Bullet 500.
In the first installment of the travelogue, Martin, after successfully buying a Royal Enfield motorcycle, embarks upon the journey, not to see the Taj Mahal and other attractions, but to explore the other side of India and meet everyday people. Martin visits the busy streets of Delhi to get a gist of life in the National Capital.
After venturing into various markets, he heads on for a rail journey to Kalka, from where he gets an opportunity to visit one of the oldest tea plantations in the country. After the visit to the tea fields, Martins heads on to Billing where he tries his hands on paragliding. Watch the first leg of Martin’s journey in the first episode of Our Guy In India:
