SPIED: Ford Figo facelift

We have always liked the Ford Figo hatchback. The car, which is based on the Fiesta Classic or the mk5 Fiesta, is well sorted and the diesel variant offers affordable yet pleasurable motoring. While we reported in detail when Ford decided to upgrade its little hatch in the South American market, we always wondered why Ford India, responsible for Indian operations of the American automaker, wasn’t working on injecting some botox into the fast aging car. It may be noted that B Segment has seen a handful of new offerings and facelifts since the Ford hatchback was launched in 2010. Here, we have a few images of the Figo facelift test mule in a gaudy yellow paintwork. As expected the car gets revised headlights and taillights.  The car will be seen sporting a few changes to the grille and the design form of headlight & air dam respective. Safely expect the refreshed version of this car to have some minor alternations on the inside, along with having a new set of alloy wheels.

  1. The FORD FIGO needs to work up on its running cost issues. The car is well sorted out and has good space too. Wonder if Ford can figure to bring running costs down.
