Meet a Yamaha Fazer that’s dressed up like the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200SS

The Bajaj Pulsar 200SS/400SS is yet to arrive but it seems like this gentleman was tired of waiting and decided to dress up his Yamaha Fazer in the upcoming Pulsar cladding. Although we couldn’t  find the whereabouts of the motorcycle and its owner, we would like to laud him for his effort.

The images, sent to us by our avid reader Nitin Mane, showcases this dramatically overhauled Fazer with the front end receiving a pair of projector head lamps along with LED daytime running headlights identical to the ones found on the upcoming Pulsar 200SS. The LED turn indicators, too, are identical to the KTM style Pulsar 200SS units. The fairing has been modified to mimic the one on the display motorcycle that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi.

The tank, although with its well replicated recesses on the sides, is slightly different on the top. The side panel too is plagiarized precisely but the split seat design is a bit of a turn off. The exhaust canister could have been better, and more importantly, shorter. The tail has borrowed from a KTM Duke 200/390. The replica also sports a pair of rear panel integrated turn indicators which look quite appealing. The entire motorcycle has been wrapped/painted (we’re not sure) in shades of black and green.

Overall, it is a good attempt to have a refreshing change but some bits and pieces could have been well thought of. Do you agree with us? Share your thoughts and opinions about this modified Yamaha Fazer with us through comments section below.

  1. Fazer does not have the best of designs on road but trying to mimic Pulsar 200ss is just preposterous.
I admire the effort but to be honest the Pulsar designs have always been a copy of some international bikes from day one.
So basically, he has copied “Energica Electric Superbike”
