Citizen of Mumbai are well versed with the auto-rickshaw drivers and their stubborn ways of rejecting customers from plying to certain destinations. But then there are people like your friendly neighborhood Sandeep Bacche, who not only offers additional facilities to the customers but also work as a good Samaritan spreading social messages and good cause. Bacche, who lost his mother to illness, began the work of charity to help the underprivileged.
Bacche offers facilities such as a claimed full HD LCD television and wi-fi to his customers. Customers can also charge their mobile phones and use the PCO/STD telephone service installed inside the vehicle. One can also enjoy a hot beverage on the go as Bacche also has hot tea on the menu. Other facilities and information include newspaper, currency rates, weather updates and stock market updates. Safety has not been put on the back-burner either and Bacche carries a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher, along with a list of emergency numbers in the city in his auto-rickshaw.

Bacche also has a kind heart and select customers can benefit from special fares. Senior citizen, for example, get special rates while handicapped travelers receive a 50 percent discount. He also offers a 10 percent discount to newly wed couples and does not charge to people going to hospitals. Bacche himself donates Rs 2 per ride to charity. Bacche also spreads a good word about peace, protecting environment, helping cancer patients and elderly and saving girl child. Customers can donate money towards charity through the donation box in the rickshaw and get a free sweet for the good deed.
