At Motoroids, we often talk about a world without borders. Where humanity can break the shackles of barbed wires, stamped visas and set itself free. The changing dynamics of this new world then, has brought us to the first ever BBIN motor rally.
The rally is an inaugural run of vehicles on a route which will open new horizons for trade, tourism, welfare and new bondings between Bhutan, Bangladesh, India and Nepal.
The route map for the first BBIN Friendship Motor rally – we hear that Nepal may be skipped owing to the country’s internal strife
Mahindra Adventure, which has partnered with Kalinga Motorsports to organize the event has been kind enough to invite us on this historic drive and we are glad to be a part of this expedition that will pass through some of the most scenic places in South east Asia.
The motor rally is a trial run on a route that will later open to commercial and tourist traffic, boosting economies and tourism in this part of the world. Along the way, the cavalcade will also spread the good word about road safety and strengthen the bond between with our neighbors.
Starting from Bhubaneshwar on 14th November 2015, the convoy of 20 vehicles which includes Mahindra Scorpios, XUV 500s, a lone kitted out Thar, Toyota Innovas and Fortuners was flagged off by the Chief Justice of Orissa and will march forward towards Ranchi tomorrow.
