Bajaj Pulsar CS400 Launch in 2016; All images and details

Earlier this month, senior Bajaj officials told us that the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 launch will take place in 2016. (CLICK HERE for our earlier story). While this means that the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 launch is still sometime away from us, the boffins at Bajaj’s marketing wing have been working hard to keep the buzz around the upcoming product. The latest post by them on the official Bajaj Pulsar Facebook page is that the upcoming model would boast of dual discs with ABS. While there is nothing new about this information, as we all knew that the bike would sport a disc brake at both its wheels, the latest updated on the FB page further consolidates our belief that BAL won’t give ABS a miss for the CS400. The Bajaj Pulsar CS 400 (Cruiser Sports) will play the perfect street naked sibling to the fully faired Pulsar SS 400 (Super Sports), which will be launched in mid 2015. The new Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will be powered by a retuned version of the same fuel injected 373.6 cc liquid cooled 4 valve single cylinder engine that can be found powering the 390 Duke. This is is he same engine that will also power the SS400, albeit, in a different state of tune. For the 390 Duke this engine comes mated to a six speed manual transmission and has a power figure of around 43 bhp. All this means that in all likelihood, the two new Pulsar bikes will boast of healthy power figures that will ensure that the models have segment leading performance.
